They had been waiting for hours at the entrance of the temple. It was the whole crew assembled by millionaire Joseph Van Naesen for an expedition to the fabled Fountain of Youth. Archaeologist Paul Castle was namely the head of the mission, but he too had to stay put outside of the temple. So did Van Naesen's wife, the much younger and suppler Dina Von Naesen. Castle suspected that Van Naesen's obsession for the Fountain of Youth had much to do with her. The man was approaching seventy and having a wife in her late twenties must have made the man feeble with his own mortality.  Whatever the motivation, Castle's info and Van Naesen's money proved a successful enterprise. Gary ran to the closest bookshop, not caring about being scantly dressed. He needed to be sure that he wasn't getting any dumber. He picked a non-fiction book about economics that he read in college. He started reading it, despite the distraction that his red-painted nails were and despite the feeling of his big, silicone-enhanced tits against his sweater.  His reading ability seemed normal, until he started the second paragraph. Words seemed more difficult and longer and Gary had to read a sentence two times before understanding it.
